My Story
Valeria Perez Rivera
Hi, my name is Valeria Perez, and I’m a recent BFA fashion product developer graduate who loves streetwear and sportswear. I was born and raised in Colorado, where fashion wasn’t always a big part of the culture, but that actually pushed me to stand out and develop my own sense of style. That drive led me to study fashion at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I’ve always believed that fashion is a form of self-expression. The way you dress tells a story without saying a word, and that idea guides everything I create.
As a future product developer, I’m passionate about creating pieces with purpose—designs that fill real gaps in the market. I’m always looking to learn, grow, and bring fresh ideas into the industry, and I’m excited for opportunities where I can make an impact
Beyond design, soccer is my lifelong passion. Competing from age five through my college years, being an athlete has deeply shaped my focus on technical activewear, prioritizing ergonomic comfort and creative self-expression. The pitch instilled in me discipline, leadership, and effective communication skills. These traits, alongside my adaptability, are assets I am eager to apply to the fashion industry today.
